De schilderijen ontstaan uit een spel tussen herhaling en afwijking, waarbij subtiele spanningsvelden tussen vorm en kleur worden opgebouwd.

Ze manoeuvreren tussen gelaagdheid en gestileerde eenvoud, tussen strakke lijnen en organische bewegingen. Kleur en schaal tasten het doek af en reageren op elkaar.

Vormen worden neergezet als echo’s die zich stapelen, verschuiven en soms oplossen. Op zoek naar een wankel evenwicht, waar controle en toeval elkaar raken.

Schilderkunst als een voortdurend verkennen van (on)bekend terrein.

Waar raakt abstractie aan figuratie?
Hoe dicht ligt harmonie bij chaos?
Hoe verweven zijn constructie en deconstructie in het beeld?



The paintings emerge from an interplay between repetition and deviation, building subtle tensions between form and color.

They maneuver between layering and stylized simplicity, between clean lines and organic movement. Color and scale probe the canvas and interact.

Forms are presented as echoes that accumulate, shift, and sometimes dissolve. They search for a precarious balance, where control and chance intersect.

Painting as a constant exploration of (un)known territory.
